Marine
The division for marine braids at E.L. Wood consist of everything from diamond braids, braid on braid, to solid braids.

Military
As a certified supplier for the U.S. Government, we are qualified to manufacture cord in the 4020 series. To meet these qualifications, E.L. Wood had to pass an extensive quality control inspection by the defense industrial supply center.

Overbraiding
Our overbraids consist of braiding over plastics and rubber tubing as well as any kind of cable. Materials used in this process are nylon, polyester, polypropylene, Nomex, and Kevlar. This braiding can be done in solid colors or any color combination to achieve the pattern needed.

Twines
Our twines are used mainly in the commercial fishing industry for netting, fishing lines, etc. Twines are also used in many other applications from mason lines to gardening supplies. We manufacture twines from #9 to #120 which will meet the requirements of most any application.

Custom Braiding
We at E.L. Wood pride ourselves in the ability of customizing any braid needed for our customer's application. When we are provided with a sample or description of the braid needed, our staff will design a counter sample for approval.
